Compare to the traditional hydraulic press brake that drives the punch up and down by hydraulic force, the servo-electric press brake is driven by the two high-power servo motors with ball screws and tracks. As a result, the electric press brake is operates at a faster pace.

Although the initial investment cost of a fully electric press brake is higher than that of a hydraulic press brake, these machines typically last for 20 years or more. Since electric press brakes use servo motors, they are more energy-efficient and do not require hydraulic oil changes. Therefore, in the long run, fully electric press brakes are more efficient.
We use Taiwan Hiwin C5 grade or higher ball screw guides, along with Siemens servo motors, which allows us to control accuracy within a 0.01mm tolerance.
WEIYA’s electric press brakes eliminate the use of difficult-to-handle pollutants- hydraulic oil.
